Welcome to the IBS Conference on Neuronal and Glial Functions
The IBS Conference on Neuronal and Glial Functions, jointly hosted by three neuroscience-themed centers at the Institute for Basic Science (IBS)—Center for Neuroscience Imaging Research (CNIR), Center for Synaptic Brain Dysfunctions (CSBD), and Center for Cognition and Sociality (CCS)—warmly welcomes scientists committed to advancing our understanding of the brain.
This year’s conference will focus on the prefrontal cortex, a key hub for complex cognitive, emotional, and social functions, and a region whose dysfunction is implicated in diverse brain disorders. The scientific program will feature sessions on Cortical Waves, Stress and the Prefrontal Cortex, and Rodent Prefrontal Cortex, bringing together diverse perspectives from molecular and cellular mechanisms to systems-level dynamics.
We are delighted to provide a platform for exchanging the latest discoveries and fostering collaboration among leading researchers, early-career scientists, and students. We expect this meeting to offer valuable opportunities to explore new ideas, refine research directions, and connect with leaders in the field through engaging talks and a dedicated poster session.
