2012's second-round selection of directors for 

IBS research centers is announced 

1. Submission of applications

Applications that have been submitted by 5 p.m on May 31, 2012, shall be evaluated as part of the second-round selection and evaluation of directors to be appointed at IBS research centers.

Any applications already submitted shall be evaluated automatically for the second round; candidates can also update their applications by resubmitting them through the IBS website. For more information, go to the "Research Center Director Invitation" web page.

2. Research Centers: Composition

All IBS research centers must include a director and group leaders. All group leaders must be able to carry out their own research while coordinating with the director. Group leaders must also conduct their research at the location where the director is based. Group leaders will be evaluated and appointed by the SEC.
