IBS and OIST Signed an MOU

The Institute for Basic Science (IBS) and the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University (OIST) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at the headquarters of OIST in Okinawa, Japan to boost research collaboration and staff exchange in the fields of basic science.
Under the framework of the MOU, both parties will work together to identify and operate collaborative research programs in basic science, as well as to facilitate networking among researchers and students from both institutions.

“Sharing the same values and visions of research of high quality, IBS and OIST will work together more closely through this MOU.” OIST President Jonathan Dorfan also commented, “We will discover more opportunities to promote mutual growth through joint academic events, as well as research collaborations".
