A Beautiful Mind is based on the life of John Nash, an outstanding mathematician. Despite great pressure from research, he introduced the Nash equilibrium, which made him a greatly respected researcher. His personal life and research career took a dark turn when he was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia which frequently involves serious hallucinations. However, the condition did not stop him from continuing his love and passion for research. Backed by support from the love of his life, he established himself as a respected figure at his university and won the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences.
