Center for Van der Waals Quantum Solids, Institute for Basic Science (IBS) in Pohang, South Korea, invites applications for Postdoctoral Research Associate positions. The center is located at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) which is the world leading academic institute and surrounded by incredible resources for researchers including Pohang Synchrotron Radiation Facility (PAL) and Pohang X-ray free electron laser (PAL-XFEL). We are seeking for a highly motivated candidate with the scientific background and know-how in materials science and engineering, condensed matter physics, chemistry, and electrical engineering. Contract Terms |
▪ (Postdoctoral research associate) will be eligible to renew employment contract once after the initial term and the total employment period is up to three years. For a contract renew, a research performance evaluation will be conducted and its evaluation score should be required more than 70.
※ In case of the Center’s closure during employment, the employment contract will be terminated accordingly.
